Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant - Broomfield, CO (In-office, hybrid)

Salary: $55,000-$60,000, based on experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage accounts payable operations and support general accounting functions across multiple active business units.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and related supporting schedules
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records in accordance with company policy
• Support sales and use tax reporting processes
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and payment approval requirements
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation
• Assist with external audit requests as needed
• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices across multiple concurrent development projects
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy
• Prepare vendor payment batches and wire transfers
• Monitor payment status and proactively resolve invoice discrepancies
• Serve as primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries and account reconciliations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP
