Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Project Leader

Job Overview We are looking for a Project Leader to serve as integration leader for analysis that drives recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging navigation and positioning systems. Responsibilities Serve as integration leader for analysis that drives recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging navigation and positioning systems. Serve as a key point of contact and advise key stakeholders for specialized technical expertise in geolocation, PNT architecture analysis or PNT resilience. Lead cross‑department teams in conducting specialized technical analysis and development tasks. Independently translate customer needs into project objectives and provide technical evaluations. Perform end‑to‑end (E2E) performance evaluations and analysis‑of‑alternatives (AoA) using in‑house or internally developed analysis tools. Serve as a technical mentor to junior staff in one or more department focus areas. Develop and present timely and technically accurate presentations and reports to technical leads, management, and customers. Support development and sustainment of the organization’s analysis and simulation tools and capabilities. Build and maintain a strong network of customers and collaborators by forming effective working relationships with cross‑organization internal partners, government customers, and contractor teammates. Minimum Requirements B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited school. 8 or more years of relevant professional, technical, and program management work experience. Professional experience with one or more subject areas: space‑related modeling and simulation, geolocation, mission data processing, signal processing, space threats, resilient systems, advanced PNT technologies, algorithm design, software development, or mathematical modeling. Proficiency with one or more software languages that may include Python, C, C++, MATLAB, Fortran, Java. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. U.S. citizenship required. How You Can Stand Out Graduate degree in one of the fields of study mentioned above. Current, active TS/SCI security clearance. Significant experience in one or more functional/mission areas listed above. Demonstrated technical leadership, personal accountability, and adaptability to changing customer expectations. Knowledge of Intelligence Community or U.S. Department of Defense business practices, acquisition policies, or space mission portfolios.
