- Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Assignment Duration: Contract / Temporary (Estimated 2 – 3 months)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Payroll Specialist for a temporary assignment (2–3 months). In this role, you will be responsible for supporting core payroll operations, ensuring prevailing wage compliance, and managing certified payroll reporting for public works projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll efficiently and conduct thorough timecard reviews.
- Manage and submit certified payroll reporting in compliance with applicable standards.
- Ensure adherence to prevailing wage requirements across active projects.
- Maintain DIR compliance for all public works assignments.
- Utilize compliance software to track and report payroll data accurately.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Payroll & Compliance: Proven experience with certified payroll reporting, prevailing wage requirements, and Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) compliance for public works projects.
- Payroll Processing: Strong background in end-to-end payroll processing and meticulous timecard verification.
- Software Familiarity: Hands-on experience with LCPtracker, Elations, or similar payroll/compliance software is strongly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and solid communication skills.
