Civil Site Engineer
A thriving, well-established engineering firm in the Florham Park, NJ area is seeking a dynamic Civil Site Engineer to join its growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional (0–3 years), looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Civil Site Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 0–3 years of civil site, geotechnical, or environmental engineering experience (internship or construction background preferred).
- Ability to interpret and apply technical plans, specifications, reports, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience or familiarity with site work inspections (fills, foundations, utilities, asphalt, concrete, retaining walls, etc).
- Proficiency or working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software.
- Certifications such as EIT, OSHA HAZWOPER, ACI, or NICET preferred; must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply concepts to practical engineering solutions.
Work Environment:
This position involves both office and fieldwork, with a significant portion outdoors in varying weather and site conditions. Proper safety gear and field readiness are required.
