Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Kearney, Nebraska. This position provides nursing care on a Med Surg/Ortho unit in an acute care setting, supporting patients with diagnoses such as joint replacements and spine conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), minimum 36.0 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; license to submit; drivers license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles; minimum 2 year(s) of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information: Unit-specific onboarding includes a pass/fail exam on Friday during orientation, followed by an open-book exam on skills learned. A 90% score is required to pass. Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care; refusal to remove nails may result in contract termination. If placed on call and called back, arrival is required within 30 minutes. Floating may be required to Med Surg, rehab, or PCU taking Med Surg acuity. An additional unit/department orientation day (1 day) is required. Charting is completed in EPIC.
