About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must be Telemetry trained to float Description: This position requires floating to PCU for MSU assignments. Nurses will work with a maximum ratio of 1:6. During day shifts on weekdays, the ratio is 1:5. Every other weekend is required. There may be up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks. Holiday requests are limited to one during contract periods. This role is within an acute care setting with a total of 23 beds. The charting system used is EPIC. The trauma level for this position is 3. Candidates should possess the necessary skills for a Medical Surgical unit. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
