Surgical Physician Assistant (SPA) Location: Boston, Massachusetts Schedule: 6:00AM - 7:00PM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $125 - $130/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (SPA) for a locum tenens assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Qualifications
- Current MA, NP or PA License
- Board Certified
- 1 year of neurosurgery experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
- Remove sutures and staples
- Remove drains (JP drains, EVDs depending on facility protocols)
- Monitor ICP, vital signs, and neurologic status
- Conduct neurological assessments and document findings
- Outpatient will involve managing post op patients, case management, ordering imaging, scans, etc.
