Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Current driver's license
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• 2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administers the physical therapy treatment plan developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provides non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises and various modalities to patients.
• Documents clients' status accurately and submits clinical paperwork timely.
• Attends educational meetings and contributes to department in-services.
• Notifies supervisory personnel of equipment failures, supply shortages, staff or client changes.
• Schedules clients and performs office tasks as necessary.
• Applies infection control and universal precautions in patient care.
• Accepts clinical assignments consistent with education and competence.
• Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and other third-party payors.

• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and travel locally.
