Program Coordinator, Management Division

This is a temporary one year, full time position with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Divisional Chair, the Program Coordinator serves as a trusted partner providing comprehensive operational support and daily management for the academic and project-based needs of a Faculty Chair. This role is uniquely focused to provide both professional precision and care - someone who is equally comfortable managing complex schedules, transcribing and editing research, and supporting the accessibility needs of a visually impaired Faculty Chair, ensuring the smooth execution of her professional activities.

Key responsibilities include acting as a guide within the working environment, serving as the primary point of communications contact, and converting research and course materials into accessible formats. The Program Coordinator works both independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to support the Chair's scholarly mission and projects.

Responsibilities include administrative and operational support, research and content support, academic and classroom coordination, and financial operations support.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience, excellent oral, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills, demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite, knowledge of Morningside Heights campus and surrounding neighborhoods, and ability to travel as needed with some evening and weekend work required.

Preferred qualifications include experience supporting academic leaders or senior executives in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with academic publications, research processes, higher education, experience working with or providing support to individuals with disabilities, and interest in innovation and business.
