Lead Hvac Technician

We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.

The HVAC Tech will help ensure building HVAC and mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while providing professional service to clients and facility personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, boilers, pumps, fans, compressors, and related equipment.
• Repair and replace HVAC components, controls, motors, valves, thermostats, filters, belts, and other parts.
• Perform electrical maintenance related to HVAC equipment, motors, wiring, and controls.
• Operate and maintain HVAC tools, testing equipment, and company equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and service reports.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment problems, and maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide professional customer service and work effectively with clients, vendors, coworkers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of documented journeyman-level HVAC operation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• General building maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC testing equipment.

Physical & Work Requirements

This position requires standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and working in indoor and outdoor environments. The position may involve exposure to mechanical equipment, electrical systems, chemicals, heat, and varying weather conditions.
