Our client is seeking a dependable Administrative Assistant for a temporary assignment supporting the IT department. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with technology, assisting users with basic technical needs, and supporting day-to-day IT activities. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the IT team to help ensure equipment and meeting technology are set up and functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a dependable Administrative Assistant for a temporary assignment supporting the IT department. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with technology, assisting users with basic technical needs, and supporting day-to-day IT activities. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the IT team to help ensure equipment and meeting technology are set up and functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and configuration of end-user devices and equipment.
- Assist with setting up, testing, and operating audio/visual (AV) equipment for Board and Commission meetings.
- Provide basic technical troubleshooting and end-user support.
- Assist the IT department with day-to-day technical needs and projects.
- Help ensure equipment is properly set up and functioning as needed.
- Communicate with staff and end users to assist with basic technical questions and issues.
- Perform other duties and IT-related tasks as assigned.
- Previous administrative, IT support, technical, or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of computers, technology, and common office equipment.
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues.
- Ability to learn new technology and equipment quickly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting the IT team.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Must be available for the duration of the temporary assignment.
