Instructional Designer

Instructional Designer Location: Arlington, US Job Family: Consumer Country/Region: United States The Instructional Designer creates new content for the Medical Strategy and Knowledge Advancement team. This role encompasses creating new educational materials and content, working closely with subject matter experts, assisting with in-person training as needed, and assisting in the management of our learning management system. The Instructional Designer also drives efforts to equip our sales team with the knowledge and tools they need to excel in the field of tissue regeneration. The Instructional Designer is located in the Kerecis office and reports to the Senior Director, Global Knowledge Advancement. Major Areas of Accountability Create a variety of high-quality educational materials that facilitate effective and engaging training experiences by combining instructional design principles, educational expertise, creativity, and collaboration Assist with in-person training as needed Provide content creation guidance to other members of the team as needed Review and revise existing materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness. Work closely with subject matter experts Gather feedback, conduct assessments, and analyze training effectiveness to continuously improve and update the educational materials Provide clear communication of the overall scope, deliverables, timing, funding, and resource requirements for assigned projects Assist in running of Learning Management System Kerecis employees are required to conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies. Other job duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, education, educational technology, design, medical, science, or other relevant fields Familiarity with course authoring tools Attention to detail and Quality Graphic Design Multimedia Familiarity with Learning Management systems Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Articulate is a plus This job description is intended to set forth the core functions required for this position and describe the general nature of the work to be performed.
