Registered Nurse ( RN ) Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health

Psychiatric Nurse

MedStar Harbor Hospital is looking for an experienced psychiatric nurse to join our Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health unit.

Available Roles: Full-time Dayshift Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit: Three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend, 36 hours per week

Unit Highlights

36-bed acute adult inpatient psychiatry beds spread across two units of 24 and 12 beds, respectively

Evidenced-based mental health treatment

Hospital-based Protection Services (Security) Department

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needsfrom routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
