Reno Staffing is looking for a final receiving inspector for an Industrial Hose Manufacturer in the Sparks NV area!

Are you detail oriented, a hard worker, a self-started and comfortable in a face paced environment? Are you proficient in reading a tape measure? If you have all of these skills this position may be perfect for you! 

This position is temp to hire. This company manufactures high end hoses such as gas, pressure washing, and/or sand blasting hoses to name a few. Great benefits offered once converted: Health and dental insurance, 401k program, annual discretionary bonuses, paid holiday and paid vacation time! 

Shift:   Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pay:  $20/hr. 
Location: Sparks NV, 89434 (bus line accessible)

Summary:  
The Final/Receiving Inspector will inspect products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.

• Read blueprints and specifications  
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, tape measure, or Pie tape
• Accept or reject finished or Raw Material items
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
• Discuss inspection results with Dept. Supervisor, Area Leader, and Dept. Engineer
• Report inspection and test data as needed. Enter into NC Log database
• Follow all Work instructions for performing Final Inspection criteria and Non-conforming product
• Print material certifications for customer orders as required
• Prepare all necessary shipment paperwork as required
• Performs additional training duties as requested
• Package orders for customer shipments as required
• Use Forklift/Tow Motor to move shipments and raw material as needed
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Qualified for PMI inspection. Print PMI reports
• Receiving inspection of components from suppliers using various measuring instruments and prints, specification and quality documents.
• Use Forklift/Tow Motor to move shipments and material, load and unload stock trucks and machines, and/or change gas tanks.

Competency:  
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Inspect all products to Work Instructions.
• Utilizes RFA to offer ideas and solutions with involvement from Plant Management Team
• Competent in basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist and kneel.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Must pass Vision Acuity Test

A Resume and Interview are required for this position to be considered.

Candidates being considered need to pass a math test before being presented to the client. Math test includes reading a measuring tape, conversion from decimals to fractions, adding, safety information and barcode reading.

A Drug test will be required after interview upon consideration, will NOT be testing for THC.
