Job Overview As a B2B Outside Sales Representative for Payment Technology on the Genius team, you bring innovative solutions directly to business owners and create a measurable impact on their operations. Responsibilities Drive new business growth by creating opportunities through field outreach, digital engagement, and local networking. Own the full sales cycle, turning conversations into revenue and delivering consistent results in your territory. Build trusted relationships with business owners, positioning yourself as a go-to advisor who understands their goals. Deliver compelling, value-driven presentations that show how Genius improves operations, increases loyalty, and fuels growth. Shape your territory strategy using market insights, strengthening your pipeline and accelerating deal momentum. Expand Global Payments' impact by introducing innovative solutions that help businesses operate smarter and grow faster. Strengthen long‑term client value by identifying opportunities to expand solutions and deepen relationships. Spend up to 75% of your time in the field, creating meaningful, face‑to‑face connections that drive results. Qualifications At least one year of success in B2B or B2C outside sales, with a track record of delivering results. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in person and virtually. Confidence in building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners. A competitive, self‑driven mindset with the energy to achieve and exceed goals. Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes. Valid driver's license and comfort spending up to 75% of your time in the field. Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive. Preferred / Bonus Skills Proven ability to upsell and cross‑sell existing merchants on new features, software add‑ons, and hardware upgrades. Experience working with the restaurant or retail industries. Two full years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services, or SaaS.
