Accountant SrThe Accountant Sr position will be part of the General Accounting department mainly focused on Accounts Payable type tasks. This position will work with others outside of the General Accounting department in order to resolve day to day issues. The person will be responsible for month end close duties including account reconciliations. The position will include tasks that will require research and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and can work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Primary responsibilities consist of:Month end close for accounts payableMonth end close for purchasingMonthly account reconciliationsResearching and resolving aged items including outstanding receipts of material and outstanding payables balancesSales and use tax monthly return filings and payments along with assistance on taxability questionsMonthly journals as requiredAssistance with invoice and/or purchase order issuesSupport internal, external and government auditsSupport any system required testing and implementationRequired education, experience, and skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeSelf-motivated and process/results orientedAbility to communicate effectively both orally and writtenAbility to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environmentAbility to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and proceduresProblem solving and in depth research and analytical skills; must be detail oriented with meticulous record-keeping skillsAdvanced Excel skillsPreferred education, experience, and skills:Oracle ERPKTA (Kofax)iValuaPay information: Full-time salary range: $75254 - $127930. This range is based on our market pay structures.
