Regional Sales Manager, South Central (Dallas)

Role Description Regional Sales Manager, South Central (Dallas) is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Santa Monica, CA. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and marketplace adoption across the South Central region, with a primary focus on building and managing relationships with dealers, fleet partners, and high‑volume sellers. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations, negotiating terms, and closing deals. The Regional Sales Manager will analyze regional performance, forecast pipeline, and collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to optimize offerings for regional needs. The role also includes regular travel within the South Central territory, attending industry events, and providing market feedback to help shape Plug’s go‑to‑market strategy. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in regional or territory sales management, preferably in automotive, EV, SaaS, or marketplace environments. Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing complex deals. Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and forecasts using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic data analysis for performance tracking. Ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships with dealers, fleet operators, and other commercial partners across a multi‑state region. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivering persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences. Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth startup environment with minimal supervision and evolving processes. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts, travel, and deadlines. Knowledge of the EV ecosystem, automotive remarketing, or wholesale/retail vehicle sales is highly beneficial. Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the South Central region as business needs require.
