Lead Platform Engineer

Automated sequencing provider delivering publication-grade accuracy at unprecedented speed. The life sciences move at the pace of their slowest pipeline. When sample processing takes weeks, research stalls. This team eliminates that bottleneck by unifying robotics, hardware, and software into a single, rapid flow. As the lead, you will architect the cloud infrastructure and backend services that keep sequencing operations running without friction or fault. What we're looking for: 6+ years of infrastructure, SRE, or backend engineering experience Deep fluency in Python, PostgreSQL, Django, and FastAPI for backend systems Production expertise orchestrating Kubernetes on AWS Ability to lead platform strategy for systems bridging hardware and software Must be based in the United States.
