We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. What You'll Do As a Accounting Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our billing and accounting operations while providing exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Answer customer billing questions and resolve account concerns professionally Process and post incoming customer payments Verify remittance information and payment documentation Process accounts payable invoices and expense transactions Reconcile purchase orders and maintain accurate parts records Update and maintain customer accounts within our CRM system Assist with inventory and database accuracy Support the Accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as needed What We're Looking For Required Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professional and positive attitude when handling challenging situations Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Ability to quickly learn new software and CRM systems Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service experience Bookkeeping, billing, accounts payable, or accounting support experience High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement Plan Why Cunningham Security?
