Beechtree Center , a warm and community-oriented 120-bed skilled nursing facility in Ithaca, NY, is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager RN to oversee clinical operations on one of our nursing units. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who’s passionate about quality care, teamwork, and resident well-being.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise daily nursing operations on your unit to ensure high-quality care
Oversee care plans, medication administration, and compliance with clinical protocols
Lead and mentor nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and support
Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and survey preparation
What You’ll Need:
Active RN license in New York
1–2 years of leadership or charge nurse experience in long-term care preferred
Knowledge of state/federal nursing home regulations and clinical best practices
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Compassion and professionalism in every interaction
