Litigation Paralegal

Full Job Description

Established full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team.


Qualifications:
• Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP), Certified Paralegal (CP), or certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program
• At least 2 years of relevant paralegal experience
• Strong background in general civil litigation
• Experience with Clio or similar case management software
• Prior billing experience preferred


All candidates must be comfortable billing their time in accordance with firm guidelines.


This is not a Remote Position.


About the Role


The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in all stages of litigation, from case intake through trial. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities include:
• Assisting attorneys with case management from inception through trial
• Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Communicating with clients and outside parties
• Scheduling and confirming hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings
• Maintaining and monitoring calendars for all deadlines and court dates
• Conducting legal research
• Managing discovery, including coordinating responses and preparing related documents
• Preparing subpoenas, exhibits, trial binders, and other pre-trial materials
• Accurately and timely entering billable time
• Performing additional duties as assigned by attorneys

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
