Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling services to clients, working collaboratively with couples and families to identify and address various challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples while also meeting with individual family members to create a holistic approach to treatment.

• Identifying and addressing issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, communication barriers, and adjustment difficulties during separations or divorces.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive tailored interventions that foster healing and growth.

• Documenting client progress in compliance with best practices and ensuring that all records are kept confidential and secure.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community partners to coordinate care and resources for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diverse client populations, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your role will involve addressing the unique challenges that arise in family dynamics, as well as providing tools and strategies for individuals dealing with past traumas and current stressors.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
