Associate Professor, Research Faculty Appointment (RFA) - Abdominal Imaging Department

The Department of Abdominal Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Imaging, at the UT MD Anderson invites applications for a full-time, research faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. The Department of Abdominal Imaging consists of 60 fellowship-trained radiologists who provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to screen, diagnose, stage and follow-up patients with known or suspected malignancy using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. This position will primarily focus on computational imaging, quantitative MRI, and artificial intelligence applications in radiology. Responsibilities Writing, editing, and submitting reports, manuscripts, grant applications and abstracts; Reviewing the scientific literature and planning new studies; Preparing and presenting data for publication and scientific meetings; Maintaining current and accurate records of research data; Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. and at least seven years of experience in advanced radiology scientific work. Prior research experience and publications in Abdominal Imaging is highly desirable.
