Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide hands-on care to PreK-8th grade students, collaborating closely with a dedicated team including a Physical Therapist, Adapted Physical Education instructor, and COTA support one day each week. Your expertise will directly impact students’ ability to access their education and achieve their individual goals.

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist license required
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Familiarity with PreK-8th grade caseloads is advantageous
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to elementary and middle school students in an onsite school environment
Evaluate students, establish appropriate goals, and deliver individualized interventions
Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and communicate progress clearly with staff and families
Collaborate with colleagues such as PTs, APE, and COTAs to coordinate comprehensive support for students
Maintain records and adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and educational requirements
