About the Position

License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: A skilled and compassionate RN Description: As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. You will deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making, you will create the safest patient environment and ensure the best patient experience across the continuum. You will work in a very fast-paced environment, managing a high volume of patients daily. The patient ratios will vary based on the clinical area and acuity. You will receive support from ED Techs, Unit Secretaries, Charge Nurses, and around-the-clock Critical Care Pharmacists, as well as other healthcare team members. The emergency department will see diverse patient types and common diagnoses, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, and various medical emergencies. Technology will include an EMR and various medical equipment for point of care. Weekend rotation and holiday expectations are part of the role. You will be required to adhere to all clinical protocols and provide exceptional care.
