Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: 3+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience for first-time travelers Description: Seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. You will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure the best patient experience. Monitor and care for a diverse patient population with various critical conditions. Expected patient ratios will vary based on the clinical area worked or acuity. Support will be provided within the department by dedicated staff members. Collaborate with Emergency Department Technicians, Unit Secretaries, Charge Nurses, and Pharmacists. Technology includes EMR, IV Pumps, medication dispensing systems, and point-of-care ultrasound. Flexibility to float to designated units may be required. Weekend rotation and holiday expectations will apply.
