Speech Therapist - Rotating Weekend Schedule

Schedule

This position offers a rotating weekend schedule, requiring two weekend days per four-week scheduling period. The standard shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist with critical care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care and will be expected to work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist in a hospital setting.
• Critical care experience is required.
• Former HCA experience is preferred.
• Current Speech Therapy license is required.
