This contract role is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a significant impact within a vibrant school environment near Arlington, TX. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, to May 20, 2027, and involves working 20 hours per week with a focus at the elementary level.

As the designated SLP, you’ll primarily serve students at one elementary school, providing both direct therapy and conducting evaluations for those on service plans. You’ll collaborate with educational teams and families, helping students overcome barriers and thrive academically and socially. The district values a proactive, organized professional who is adept at managing a specialized caseload and committed to fostering student growth.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current, active Texas SLP licensure, with all credentialing documents up to date
• Strong experience in school-based speech-language pathology (school SLP background required)
• Demonstrated ability to independently provide therapy and perform speech/language evaluations
• Solid communication skills to engage with multidisciplinary school teams and families
• Must complete Texas fingerprinting clearance (if not already done)
• Not accepting Clinical Fellows for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy sessions to students as outlined in their service plans
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and generate written reports
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state standards
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
