Job Qualifications

• Two-year college degree plus two years of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on restaurant leadership
• Proven track record in people management, team development, and delivering on budgeted financial results
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and align a diverse team
• Working knowledge of Excel, Google Suite, and POS systems such as CBORD, Simphony, or Micros
• Experience in contract food service, particularly within school or university dining programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Responsibilities

As the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage in Glendale, AZ , you will play a hands-on leadership role supporting the daily operation and overseeing hourly staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management of hourly staff to build a high-functioning team

• Managing staff scheduling, shift coverage, and daily opening and closing procedures
• Driving guest satisfaction through direct floor presence, team accountability, and swift resolution of service issues
• Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and operationally sound environment in full compliance with company standards
• Handling accurate administrative recordkeeping, daily cash reconciliation, and shift log documentation
