Imaging Coordinator

As an Imaging Coordinator, you will play a vital role in guiding frontline teams, optimizing operations, and ensuring every patient experience reflects our highest standards of care. Schedule & Hours This role will work four ten‑hour shifts per week. Days off rotate. The position includes approximately one weeknight call each week, with a weekend call shift every six weeks. Key Responsibilities Ensure patient, caregiver, and guest safety and satisfaction in accordance with existing principles and standards. Provide high‑quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services in an operationally effective and efficient manner. Promote caregiver engagement and team initiatives. Assist in hiring, orienting, training, staffing, retaining, evaluating, and motivating competent and engaged caregivers. Maintain positive relationships within the department and facility, including other departments, radiologists, referring physicians, and customers. Serve as an early adopter, exemplar, implementer, super user, problem solver, champion, and idea generator for process improvement. Essential Skills Patient Safety Patient Care Clinical Excellence Radiology Competency Communication Leadership Content Expertise in Advanced Imaging Techniques and Knowledge Computer Literacy Minimum Qualifications Professional clinical certification/registration (e.g., ARRT, ARDMS). Current state Radiology Tech License (if required for the clinical discipline). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. Demonstrated imaging technologist experience. Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Experienced Angio Techs with five years of experience, especially in advanced angio procedures (Stroke, Neuro Interventions, Pulmonary Thrombectomy, Y‑90 treatments, etc.). Physical Requirements Ongoing need to see, read information, and assess patient needs; frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors; manual dexterity for manipulating complex equipment; frequent computer use and typing; ability to lift and transfer patients and supplies ranging up to heavy items; ability to navigate crowded and busy rooms; occasional driving for roles requiring it. Location & Compensation Intermountain Health McKay‑Dee Hospital, Ogden, Utah.
