Healthcare Analyst

Analyzing healthcare utilization patterns, the full-time Healthcare Analyst II will identify opportunities to reduce medical costs and evaluate the effectiveness of cost reduction initiatives while working remotely. Key responsibilities Analyze healthcare utilization to identify patterns, variations, and outliers Evaluate the effectiveness of medical cost reduction initiatives and provide recommendations for network provider performance improvement Support the execution of ad-hoc analytics requests and conduct root cause analyses of adverse population health outcomes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics Managed care experience is strongly preferred Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tools like Transact-SQL, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau Knowledge of healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims, EMR data, and government-sponsored healthcare programs
