Responsibilities

Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies, taking payments, answering questions, and providing documentation.

Work with new clients or support a producer in an effort to understand their needs, gather necessary data, and provide quotes.

Set appointments, client calls, or support a producer to review existing policies.

Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.

Qualifications

Hold the insurance license required by your state or a willingness to take the state exam.

Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner.

Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, follow-up skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with customers.

Technology and computer proficiency.
