IT Operations Support Administrator

IT Operations Support Administrator (Peckham Inc.) Staff positions at Peckham Inc. support our rehabilitation mission. The IT Operations Support Administrator role focuses on end‑user computer, mobile device, and timeclock support while maintaining documented operational policies in a complex computing environment. Responsibilities Acknowledge, troubleshoot, and resolve customer inquiries within established service level guidelines. Provide direct support for hardware and software issues, including peripherals. Deliver desktop support onsite or remotely whenever possible. Support company‑issued mobile devices (Android & iOS) through procurement, configuration, and deployment. Apply industry best practices for end‑user computing, software delivery, telephony endpoints, and client hardened environments. Track assets accurately using tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and/or Microsoft Intune. Administer identity management: account creation, permission assignment, and account troubleshooting. Maintain a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) computing platform. Guide entry‑level service desk personnel and provide general telephony support. Create and maintain technical documentation of processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with standard ITIL processes, change management, and enterprise security controls. Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation (evenings and weekends). Attend training courses and provide training for Peckham staff and team members. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, handle confidential information discreetly, and collaborate with vendors and customers. Promote Peckham’s vision, values, and services to all stakeholders and maintain organization‑wide quality standards. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalency. 1–3 years of experience in an IT help desk, technical support, or desktop technician role. Certification in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Fundamentals, or ability to obtain one within six months. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance. Reliability to travel to assigned worksites and community locations as needed. Proficiency in imaging PCs, workstation setup, and supporting end users. Knowledge of Windows/Azure Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Windows operating systems. Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, Zendesk, etc.) and basic ITSM methodologies. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree or higher in Computer Technology or related field. Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and remote desktop tools. Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra, and common enterprise applications. Project implementation experience. Travel Occasional travel within the Phoenix area, up to 25% of the time. Physical Demands Regularly lift or move up to 10pounds and occasionally up to 25pounds.
