Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 | Every other weekend rotation and some holidays | 4x12 schedule accepted | Friday–Sunday block schedule accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, managing both ICU and IMC patient populations
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart block patterns
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity neurosurgical and critical care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the specialty
• ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required; no incorrect answers permitted on third-degree heart block questions); travelers have up to three attempts under defined criteria
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience preferred
• Experience working with both ICU and intermediate care (IMC) patient populations
