Enterprise Project Manager

Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) Project ManagerAt Regions, the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager at this level is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of small to moderately complex technology and business initiatives across the organization. This role manages project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies while ensuring adherence to enterprise technology standards, governance practices, cyber security requirements, and other applicable policies. This role collaborates with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders on a routine basis.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages small to moderately complex technology projects and cross-functional initiatives from initiation through implementation, ensuring completion within established scope, schedule, and budget parametersDevelops and maintains project plans, timelines, task lists, and documentation to support successful deliveryCoordinates project activities across assigned business, technology, operational, and vendor teamsMonitors project progress, deliverables, and milestones, escalating issues and risks as appropriateSupports the identification, documentation, and tracking of project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependenciesEnsures adherence to established project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.), software development life cycle (SDLC) requirements, and organizational standardsAssists with governance activities, including related documentation, approvals, status reporting, and required reviewsPartners with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate project updates, and support project executionCoordinates testing, implementation, training, and transition-to-support activitiesMaintains project artifacts and records in accordance with audit, compliance, and documentation requirementsContributes to continuous improvement initiatives, project management best practices, and team knowledge sharingThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field and two (2) years of project management experienceOr High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of project management experienceExperience developing project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, and executive summariesExperience managing technology-related initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups and cross-functional teamsExperience supporting audit, compliance, and regulatory initiativesPreferencesApplicable certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), etc.)Experience in banking and/or financial servicesExperience managing infrastructure, application development, cyber security, and/or enterprise technology initiativesExperience working within regulatory and/or governance-driven environmentsSkills and CompetenciesAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to identify risks and develop practical mitigation strategiesAbility to interpret and apply organizational policies, procedures, and technology requirementsBroad understanding of enterprise technology environments, infrastructure, applications, data management, and cyber security practicesDemonstrated ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced and changing environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing prioritiesFamiliarity with project portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)Strong analytical and organizational skillsStrong facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skillsStrong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of technology governance frameworks, risk management practices, and cyber security standardsWorking knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, and Hybrid delivery methodologiesThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
