Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment in Opelika, AL. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production goals through effective preventive maintenance planning and rapid response to equipment issues. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and team development. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of work orders and effective response to production equipment breakdowns Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance for production machinery, support equipment, and related systems Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs to reduce downtime and maintain production continuity Lead, train, and mentor a maintenance team of 10–20 technicians, promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Manage maintenance priorities, staffing assignments, and workflow to meet operational targets Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and manufacturing best practices Support spare parts and maintenance inventory planning to ensure operational readiness Required Qualifications Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance supervision or a senior maintenance leadership role Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams in a production environment Understanding of safety protocols in industrial settings Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and engineering documentation Experience in diagnosing and resolving equipment performance issues and irregularitiesFamiliarity with manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, and maintenance planning tools Work Environment Manufacturing/industrial facility with active production operations requiring hands‑on leadership and coordination across shifts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
