Program DirectorRole: Program DirectorLocation: Hybrid (remote with periodic Boston/Jersey City onsite)Duration: Initial 6 months discovery with extension into multi-quarter executionContract description:Scope: Lead MF trading modernization (order entry/validation/settlement) from mainframe to cloud-native; partner on Running Collected Balance (RCB) and Shadow PostingMust-have experience: 12+ yrs in brokerage/WAM tech, 7–10+ yrs program leadership, mainframe ? cloud modernization in regulated FSMutual Fund domain: Retail + bulk/batch flows, cutoffs/NAV, settlements, high-volume file processing (millions of orders)Hybrid ops: Dual-run/parity testing, fallbacks, performance/SLO managementTech fluency (not an architect): AWS/Kafka/event-driven patterns, APIs, data/batch modernization, mainframe integration conceptsLatency/controls: Designed or led zero/near-zero latency paths for money movement/controls; data integrity & reconciliation at scaleStakeholders: Proven orchestration across Product, Enterprise Architecture, Ops, Security, and multiple engineering teamsDelivery chops: Discovery ? target state ? roadmap, RAID/risks, decision logs, OKRs/metrics, executive steer-co commsRegulatory/compliance: SEC/FINRA awareness, books & records impacts, auditabilityNice-to-have: Prior investment client experience/terminology, Ops Workstation exposure, Security Master/Instrument data familiaritySoft skills: Executive presence, crisp communication, ability to challenge constructively, fast pathfinding under ambiguity
