Sr. Project Engineer, Control Account Management (IC3)

The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. Key Activities Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility Ensure engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or technical discipline preferred, or equivalent experience/combined education Prior project leadership experience Desired Skills Control Account Manager (CAM) experience Experience in project management principles (cost/schedule/technical) Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment) Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management Excellent presentation abilities Excellent organizational skills Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret.
