Manager, Contracts (Hybrid)

Job Description We are looking for a Manager, Contracts to lead proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution for the Identification and Interrogator Products (IIP) program within Collins Mission Systems. Location: Aberdeen, Maryland. Hybrid work up to 3 days onsite per week. Security clearance: None required. U.S. citizenship required. What You Will Do Lead contract development for proposals, negotiations, agreements, execution, and day‑to‑day administration. Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives and comply with policies. Effectively manage contractual scope and terms to ensure work is performed according to scope. Develop and enhance positive customer relationships to resolve contractual matters. Communicate with senior leadership about matters of strategic importance. Leverage relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues. Qualifications You Must Have University degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience. Experience in defense contracting, including administration/management for fixed‑price production, upgrades, and repair contracts. Direct experience developing proposals (sole source and competitive pursuits), fact‑finding and negotiations. Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) experience, international contracting and global customer engagement. Knowledge of FAR and DFARS. Preferred Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to support program needs. International business experience with Europe, Middle East and Asian customers. Benefits Competitive salary range: $107,500–$204,500.
