Business Development Manager

Ambition
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a growing law firm. This is a strategic, high-impact role supporting growth, client engagement, and cross-practice collaboration within the Financial Services sector. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you'll partner closely with US partners and global colleagues to develop and execute growth initiatives, drive revenue opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and raise market profile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of the Financial Services and practice growth strategy across the US and globally.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities using market and client insights.
- Manage pitches, proposals, client opportunities, and strategic pursuits.
- Develop and implement thought leadership, marketing campaigns, and profile-raising initiatives.
- Support key client account planning, relationship management, and cross-selling efforts.
- Coordinate events, sponsorships, directory submissions, awards, and PR activities.
- Track ROI, budgets, pipelines, and BD activities to ensure alignment with firm objectives.
- Collaborate closely with BD, Communications, Finance, People & Culture, and other business services teams.
- Ensure all activities comply with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
