Pediatric Speech Therapist in Chicago, IL

Situated near the vibrant city of Chicago, this contract position offers you the chance to work closely with a mild-to-moderate caseload, featuring 14 students with active IEPs and 9 consult cases, most of whom are in 6th grade or lower. Your expertise will help shape young learners communication abilities in a collaborative, supportive environment, sharing office space with a dedicated case manager for enhanced teamwork. Qualifications & Requirements Hold a current Illinois SLP license Professional Educator License (PEL) is required Bilingual in English and Spanish Comfortable working with K-9th grade students Experience with school-based SLP services, pediatric populations, and IEP development Familiarity with Embrace IEP software preferred Open to both Clinical Fellows and CCC-SLPs Role Responsibilities Direct and consultative SLP services to students on IEPs and those in consult Conduct thorough evaluations, develop therapy plans, and deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams for optimal student outcomes Maintain comprehensive documentation using Embrace software Benefits Enjoy highly competitive compensation, paid weekly, along with comprehensive insurance options that include medical, dental, vision, and life coverage.
