Vice President, Business Development

Vice President, Business Development Reports to: CEO and President. Location: United States (Remote). Status: Full‑Time, Salary‑Exempt. Mission The mission of the Vice President, Business Development is to accelerate PSG’s revenue by growing our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business. Prospectively, we anticipate you achieving this goal by increasing our brand position for recruitment opportunities through prospecting and outreach, enhancing our go‑to‑market messaging, and sales and solution development for Corporate clients. The role will also participate in market outreach events such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Outcomes & Targets Revenue and Gross Margin Obtainment: Achieve defined billable gross margin target during the first 12 months of tenure, with subsequent years aligning with budget growth targets. New sales targets: Obtain new sales through deal awards by establishing relationships via proactive prospecting, proposal development, pricing and contract negotiation, and supporting solution development. Pipeline Development: Build and manage a sales pipeline targeting companies that align with PSG’s ideal client profile, qualify prospects, coordinate solution design, price proposals, and negotiate Master Services Agreements, generating billable revenue to the first invoice. Target Achievement: Meet or exceed activity targets such as appointments set and proposals delivered to prospective customers. Sales Messaging/Solution Framework: Develop messaging in coordination with others to articulate the value proposition for PSG’s Full‑Cycle RPO offering, leveraging industry best practices as appropriate. Competencies Domain Expertise : Broad and deep knowledge of the talent acquisition/recruitment outsourcing industry and proven success selling enterprise full‑cycle RPO. Problem‑Solving & Execution : Navigate unforeseen problems with creativity and structure, executing design solutions with discipline and resolve. Leadership & Teamwork : Deliver solutions in combination with cross‑functional teams in the US and the Philippines, leveraging technology. Sales Skills : Engage in prospecting, sales efforts, personal network outreach, and consulting with the sales team to position services to buyers. Solution Design : Assist in designing solutions that meet client needs and fit PSG’s skill set. Coachability & Desire to Learn : Must be development‑oriented, independent, solution‑minded, driven, motivated, team‑oriented, dynamic, and possess a positive attitude. Experience & Qualifications Relevant experience with full‑cycle RPO solutions and experience using Salesforce and other CRM tools (preferred). Business development experience, including research, cold calls, email, and social media cadences to qualify opportunities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills across email, social media, phone, and excellent listening skills. Ability to create creative, personalized messaging that resonates and garners responses. Understanding of customers’ challenges and business needs. Independent, solution‑minded, driven, motivated, team‑oriented, dynamic, and positive attitude.
