Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract - Potential to Hire)

Pay Rate: $24/hour

Overview:
A growing food manufacturing company in Pico Rivera is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract basis, with the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in high-volume invoice processing, and familiarity with a full-cycle AP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process 500-1,000 invoices per week in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  
• Perform three-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  
• Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals prior to payment processing.
  
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accruals as needed.
  
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely payments.
  
• Maintain organized AP files and support audits when required.
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  
• Strong understanding of three-way match and invoice processing procedures.
  
• Proficient in ERP or accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
