Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a supportive district environment near Thomasville, NC. Skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed to provide essential services to school-aged populations, with most assignments located in the east or southern part of the area. This is a full-time role for the 2026-2027 academic year beginning in mid-August and running through early June.

Both SLP-CCC and SLP-CF candidates are encouraged to apply; district supervision is available for those completing their Clinical Fellowship. Please note, SLPA positions are not available at this time. Flexibility is offered in caseload assignment, allowing you to discuss your preferences during the interview.

Qualifications:

• Active NC SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with appropriate eligibility
• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is highly valued
• Ability to commit to a full academic year, working 35-37.5 hours per week
• Passion for making a positive impact in educational settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a maximum caseload of 35 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to address communication needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt strategies to meet diverse student abilities and educational goals
