Welder Position In Mills, Wy
Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified trade professionals for current and future projects in and around Mills, WY. This position is a third shift opportunity with a pay scale of $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior workmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Weld heavy structural plate
- Weld flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Read blueprints and weld procedures
- Fabricate and assemble weld projects
- Measure welds accurately
- Perform air carbon arc gouging
- Use cutting torches and beveling material
- Grind and prepare components
- Follow AWS welding procedures
- Read blueprints and welding drawings
- Understand AWS welding symbols and terminology
- Follow weld procedure specifications (WPS)
- Read tape measures in inches and millimeters
- Convert millimeters into inches
- Perform basic math calculations
Requirements:
- Understand preheating practices
- Must be experienced with:
- FCAW (.052 wire) Vertical 3G
- GMAW (.052 wire) Flat and Horizontal
- 100% CO? shielding gas*
- Air carbon arc gouging (.025 carbon rod)
