Job Description Berk Enterprises is a supplier of food service disposables located in Northeast Ohio has an opening for a seasoned Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience including working with a computer software to enter orders and credits. Experience with EDI orders encouraged. Key Responsibilities Analyze and enter customer orders received via email, phone, and fax into company software. Manage administrative functions including incoming calls, email inquiries, issue resolution, order expediting, information requests, and sales reporting. Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Proactively communicate with customers regarding upcoming needs, backorders, product availability, order status updates, and anticipated changes. Maintain accurate customer profiles and account information within company systems. Generate reports and provide analysis related to customer accounts and sales activities. Work cross functionally with the sales team and logistics team with order processing, sample requests, inventory questions, and customer inquiries. Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve and exceed established performance goals. Conduct outbound sales and follow-up calls to current and prospective customers as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and timely communication.
