IT Systems Support Specialist - Full-time Description: We are seeking a tech-savvy problem-solver who loves helping people and keeping systems running smoothly. We’re looking for an IT Systems Support Specialist to become the backbone of our technology operations. In this role you’ll be the primary point of contact for our platform, support the people who rely on it every day, and help shape how our technology evolves — all in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions truly matter. Real Impact with the company Standard business hours with occasional evenings/weekends for on-call and system updates You’ll be the go-to expert for our team’s technology needs. Day-to-day, you can expect to: Serve as the primary support contact for our platform — handling customer support, system configuration, onboarding new users, and keeping survey forms up to date. Provide advanced technical support across hardware, software, networking, audio/visual, and telecom systems. Support office computers, phone systems, and computer data services for internal staff. Test and evaluate new technologies while maintaining current and legacy systems. Partner with the Chief Information Technology Officer on project planning and implementation. Train and empower staff with personalized, hands‑on technology guidance. Handle employee on-boarding and off-boarding from an IT perspective, making first days seamless. Identify inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvements to our systems and workflows. Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to resolve issues fast. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience. Experience: 2+ years in a technical support or IT role. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you can explain complex tech concepts to anyone. Customer Focus: Genuine passion for helping people and building positive relationships with colleagues and clients. Problem‑Solving: Strong critical thinking skills and creativity when troubleshooting tricky issues. Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, PostgreSQL databases, networking fundamentals, mobile app technology, and cloud computing. Networking Know‑How: Solid foundation in network connectivity, installation, and troubleshooting. Self‑Starter: Able to manage multiple competing priorities independently with minimal supervision. Always Learning: Genuine enthusiasm for staying current with the latest technology trends and tools. Must have experience with field management platforms and/or IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications. Must have experience supporting mobile app ecosystems.
