ATL Search Group is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturing company in Buford, Georgia, to identify an experienced Plant Manager who is ready to make an immediate impact.

As Plant Manager, you will lead all aspects of plant operations, driving safety, quality, productivity, profitability, and employee engagement while helping shape the strategic direction of the facility.

What You'll Do

Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and financial objectives.

Develop and execute strategies that improve operational efficiency, plant performance, and overall profitability.

Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs throughout the facility.

Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Ensure on-time delivery while meeting customer expectations for quality, cost, and service.

Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Oversee hiring, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.

Manage plant budgets, capital investments, and resource allocation.

Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational goals.

Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, safety, regulatory, and company standards.

Support customer relationships and participate in key customer-facing activities.

Evaluate and implement investments in equipment, infrastructure, and manufacturing capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

7+ years of leadership experience within the automotive manufacturing industry.

Proven experience leading plant operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence.

Demonstrated success managing large teams and developing future leaders.

Experience with budget management, capital planning, and performance management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a global or international manufacturing organization.

Track record of improving productivity, quality, and plant profitability.

Experience leading complex manufacturing operations with multiple production lines.
