Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time, Home Care Setting

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Senior Flex Therapy Center in Chico, California. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional therapeutic services to patients in a home care setting, focusing on rehabilitating those with orthopedic conditions. With a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have the opportunity to directly impact patient recovery and enhance their quality of life.

Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in patients' homes, which allows for a highly personalized care experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and orthopedic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, all aimed at optimizing recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as needed based on individual rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients on wellness strategies, injury prevention, and the importance of adherence to home exercise regimens.
• Actively collaborate with referring clinicians, physical therapy assistants, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily having orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical recovery, fractures, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist License is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (DPT or MPT accepted).

Compensation and Benefits
