Job Description
Make a meaningful difference by providing occupational therapy services to students across school sites for the full academic year. This engaging, in-person role focuses on supporting children and educators within a collaborative educational environment. Full-time assignments span the school year from August 10 through May 28, 2027, with mileage reimbursement for travel between locations. You'll primarily work in the Oroville area, with some assignment flexibility in nearby communities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Experience working within schools or pediatric settings
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to work across multiple school sites
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Open to travel candidates seeking adventure and impact in new communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse abilities and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Evaluate student progress and provide ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Document interventions and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned school sites (mileage reimbursed) as needed
